Requirements to Become an Armed Guard in Texas
- Must be 21 years or older (18 years old if you have been honorably discharged by the military)
- Must pass a fingerprint and background check
- Must pass a drug test
- Must be a US citizen or have a work visa
- Must successfully complete level 3 training course and written evaluation
- Must obtain a weapons permit
- Must not have any prior felonies on record
